The Board is consulting on a proposal to increase medical radiation technology fees for the 2027/28 practising year. Before making a decision, the Board wants to hear from practitioners and other interested stakeholders and invites submissions. The easiest way to make a submission is by completing the online survey.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views throughout the consultation processes. Between December 2025 and February 2026, the Board consulted on proposed changes to the scopes of practice and qualifications for medical imaging and radiation therapy practitioners.

The Board has been considering its position about the provision of remote/virtual healthcare services and hybrid models of care and has consulted on the development of a position statement to support practitioners who are working, or considering working, in a remote/virtual or hybrid environments.
